History

In 1964, Charles J. Warker Sr. purchased the Victorian building at 726 High Street in Pottstown, PA, from Kenneth Fleischmann. The business was briefly known as Fleischmann-Hammond & Warker but eventually became The Warker Funeral Home.
For nineteen years, Charles Warker steadily grew the business to become one of the leading funeral homes in the area. In 1983, due to health problems, Charles sold the funeral home to his son, Christopher W. Warker, and his son-in-law, William D. Troutman. The business was formed as a partnership known today as The Warker-Troutman Funeral Home. Chris and Bill have worked to carry on Charles' vision of offering exceptional service at conservative costs. Treating every family as if it were their own has furthered the firm's expansion and has kept it a leader in the Pottstown area.
