Our History

In 1964, Charles J. Warker, Sr. purchased the victorian building at 726 High Street Pottstown, PA from Kenneth Fleischmann. The business was briefly known as Fleischmann - Hammond & Warker but eventually became The Warker Funeral Home.

For nineteen years Charles "Chick" Warker steadily grew the business to become one of the leading funeral homes in the area. In 1983, due to health problems, Charles sold the business to his son Christopher W. Warker and his son-in-law William D. Troutman. The business was formed as a partnership known today as The Warker-Troutman Funeral Home. Chris and Bill have worked to carry on the legacy of Charles's vision of offering exceptional service at conservative costs. Treating every family as if their own has furthered the expansion of the firm and has kept it a leader in the Pottstown area.
