Zenon D. Martin, 93, widower of Margaret M. (Lukas) Martin of Limerick, PA died Friday August 16, 2013 at Keystone Villa in Douglassville, PA . Born in Plains, PA he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Jedziniak) Martin. Mr. Martin had been employed before World War II by Continental Can Co. and after the war he was employed as a watchmaker and then for Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. and then Occidental Chemical Co. both formerly of Pottstown, PA. He retired after thirty years of service to Firestone and Occidental in June of 1983. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II . Zenon was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta R.C.C. and the American Legion Post 0602 of Spring City, PA and the United Steel Workers Association. Surviving are three sons David M. Martin husband of Linda of Yorktown Heights, NY, Ronald T. Martin of Birdsboro, PA and Randall R. Martin husband of Kathy of Lebanon, PA. He is also survived by two sisters Emily widow of John Block of Harpersville, N.Y. and Jenny widow of Joseph Josko of Red Hill, PA and four grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was pre-deceased by four brothers Theodore, Walter, Julius and Mickey Martin. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta R.C.C. 256 Swamp Pike Schwenksville, PA on Wednesday August 21, 2013 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday morning from 9-10:15 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA .
