Yvonne M. Lake

Yvonne M. (Lucas) Lake, wife of David P. Lake for nearly 61 years, passed away August 6, 2023 at the Reading Hospital Tower Health.

She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Hydu) Lucas.

Yvonne was born in Pottstown, PA, and a resident of Stowe nearly her entire life. She was a member of St. Gabriel's parish in Stowe.

Yvonne lived a life of service to others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and following a long career of working in nursing homes and private cases, her last and favorite job was working at Ken-Crest in Pottstown, providing nursing support for those with special needs, whom she often referred to affectionately as her "kids". She was at Ken-Crest for nearly 20 years, until her career ended due to a stroke.

Along with her husband, Yvonne is survived by her children, Steven Lake (wife Helen) and Jerry Lake. A sister Vivian Fitch and two grandchildren, Emily Lake and Phillip Lake.

Yvonne is predeceased by a brother, Joseph Lucas.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, Stowe. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe.
