William D Lawrence

William D. Lawrence, 72, husband of Wendy (Serba) Lawrence, passed away on August, 2, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was a son of Charles Lawrence Sr. and the late Frances (Counts) Lawrence.

Bill was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School,where he participated in wrestling and band. Upon graduation, he attended the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, where he also wrestled and was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, graduating in 1973, with a BS in economics. Bill was a member of the Pottstown Quoit Club and Holy Trinity in Pottstown, PA. He always loved music, playing golf, and watching the Eagles and Phillies.

He liked nothing better than "gravitating" to Ocean City, NJ, every summer with his children and then later with all his grandchildren for family vacations.

William is survived by his children, Amanda Ulrey (husband Richard) and Corbett Lawrence (wife Jeannie), siblings: Charles Lawrence Jr., Robin Nixon, Mary Beth Lawrence, Laurie Reedy and Lisa Christman, four grandchildren: Perrin Ulrey, Corbett Ulrey, Avery Lawrence and Arden Lawrence.
