William Corra

William "Yogi" Corra ,61, passed away unexpectedly due to heart failure on August 17, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 11, 1958, the son of William C. Corra and Ida E. Corra. Yogi served in the Army National Guard as a Sergeant from 1978-1984. He was a proud long time member of the Holy Trinity Club. Yogi had a strong passion for motorcycles and riding. He enjoyed Native America Pow-wows, camping, floating down the Schuylkill River, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He also had a strong love for all foods especially bacon. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his beloved brother Simon J. Corra and sister Liz Takach and his dear cat Boopy. He is survived by seven nieces and nephews; Tracy Fox, Crystal Ramos, Wil Shockley II, Robert Hillegass III, Joseph Corra, Tammy Fernsler and Janelle Coleman, 16 great nieces and nephews, 13 great great nieces and nephews and sisters Stella Kercher & Pricilla Butts. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30-11 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
