William Arthur Collins

William "Bill" Arthur Collins, 95, formerly a lifetime residence of Pottstown, passed away August 8, 2021 at his residence in Monroe County.

Bill was a son of the late John and Agnes (Hutchinson) Collins.

Born April 23, 1926 in Cumberland, Maryland. Bill enlisted in the Navy March 16, 1944 and is a Navy World War II Veteran. He was married to the love of his life Loraine (Beswick) Collins for 63 years. He enjoyed golf and was known for always helping people. Bill was a member of the Pottstown Elks Club and known for his neighborly helping hand. Bill was a Chauffeur for his friends and family, always ready to help when needed. He lived to have fun.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Loraine "Lori" (Collins) Carroll of Cresco, PA; his son, William R. Collins (Judith E.) of Pottstown.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Adria Collins and Chelsea (Carroll) Mikolosky.

Bill is predeceased by a granddaughter Janelle (Collins) Adams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am on Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A visitation will be held prior in the Gathering Center at St. Aloysius Church from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery New, Pottstown, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
