Virginia Weidner

Virginia (Koropka) Weidner, 82, wife of the late Lester Weidner, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Koropka.

Virginia was a volunteer at Goodwill Fire and Rescue. She enjoyed doing seek a word puzzles, playing bingo, and spending time with family.

Virginia is survived by six children: Donna Bartholomew, Darlene Griesemer, Marlene Smale, Arlene Weidner, David Weidner and Thomas Weidner. Two sisters, Cheryl Chiarello and Marlene Fagley. Eight grandchildren: Guy Bartholomew III, Karen Allen, Melissa Griesemer, Laura Clark, Lisa Slater, Ashley Weidner, Jonathan Weidner and Christina Flamer. Thirteen great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Virginia is predeceased by a son Donald Weidner.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc., Pottstown. A public viewing will be held prior to service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery.
