Thomas D. Vagasky, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2026, at the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on April 16, 1946, in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Stephen and Helen (Boyer) Vagasky.
A proud business owner in the home improvement industry with APSCO in Stowe, PA, Thomas dedicated his life to his work, embodying the values of hard work, commitment, and a passion for excellence. His entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering determination left a lasting impact on those he worked with and served, earning him respect and admiration in the community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Thomas was deeply involved in his community and very active in his church choir. He was a valued member of the Men of Malvern, the Knights of Columbus, and served as President of the Ches-Mont Jubilaires for several years. These affiliations reflected his commitment to service and fellowship, bringing joy and support to those around him.
In his free time, Thomas found solace in gardening, nurturing life in every plant he tended. He was also an avid reader, often disappearing into the pages of books that transported him to different worlds. His thirst for knowledge and love for nature was just a few of the many facets that made him who he was.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Tommy, knew him as a kind, gentle, and deeply grateful man. He welcomed every visitor with genuine joy, and his face would light up the moment they walked through the door. He had a remarkable way of making each person feel like they were the most important person in the world. Even during life's greatest challenges, Tommy rarely complained and never lost hope that he would regain his health. His unwavering faith in God, quiet strength, and positive spirit were an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was a devoted Christian whose trust in the Lord guided him throughout his life.
Thomas is survived by his beloved siblings: Donna Fosnocht, Christine Buckwalter and her husband James, Carol McCann and her husband Joseph, and Theresa McMaster. His family will forever cherish the memories they created together, drawing comfort from the love they shared.
