Thomas P Thees

Thomas P. Thees, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late Philp P. and Cecilia T. (Gnoza) Thees.

Thomas enjoyed watering the gardens and cooking for his family. He was a devoted son and became a caregiver for his mother for several years. Thomas had a strong devotion to Our Lady Rosary and Divine Mercy of the Sacred Heart. He was a member of St. John's Byzantine Church.

Thomas is survived by his siblings: Philip A. Thees of Pottstown, Edward P. Thees of Boyertown, Theresa M., wife of Al Hermann of Seattle, Wash and nieces Sofia Herman, Androra, wife of Eric Detwiler, of Douglassville and their children Ryan and Reese. Also, many cousins and friends.

Along with his parents, Thomas is predeceased by a sister, Martha B. Mochan.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, by Father Nicholas de Prospero located on Cherry St, Pottstown. Interment will be in St. John's The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m. with Parastas service at 7 p.m. and recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. and Monday, June 27, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Byzantine Building Fund.
