Terence S. Hish

Terence S. Hish, better known as Terry Hish, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his residence. Terry had been ill for several years. Terry was the son of the late Mary (Yanusko) and John Hish of 7th Street, Pottstown. Terry is survived by his son Stephen N. Hish of Willow Grove. He is also survived by his sister Sharon (Hish) (Schaeffer) Harp, wife of Larry H. Harp with whom he resided. He is also survived by a brother, John P. Hish of Blandon, PA. Also surviving are Terry's cousins Donald (Chip) Yanusko, husband of Maria and David Yanusko, husband of Pam. Also surviving are cousins Lisa Yanusko and Jay Yanusko. Terry has a niece, Tina Schaeffer McGill, wife of Kevin McGill and a nephew Kevin Schaeffer, companion of Stacey Moyer. He is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews; Frankie, Eric, Jordan, Jeanna, Zoey, Zachary, Patric, Lindsey and Nichole. Terry graduated from Pottstown Senior High School in 1977. From June 1977 until June 2005, he worked as a CNC machinist at Universal Machine. Terry loved to fish and hunt and was a loving person to all his family and friends. Arrangements for cremation will be through Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street in Pottstown. Family will receive friends at Warker-Troutman on Saturday, November 29th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 at the funeral home. Pastor Gil Vining will officiate the memorial service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
