Sylvia Gilbert

Sylvia (Steinmetz) Gilbert, 66, wife of Jay Gilbert, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Pottstown Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Field) Steinmetz.

Sylvia loved her family and was a great friend. Some hobbies that she enjoyed were: listening to music, especially Michael Jackson and planting flowers. She loved nature and watching the birds and squirrels in the backyard.

Along with her husband, Sylvia is survived by two sons: Jerry and Jason Steinmetz. Two brothers: Steven and Stanley Steinmetz. Three sisters: Susan Eddinger, Sheryl Jeske and Sharon Steinmetz. Two grandchildren, Jerrin and Kasin Steinmetz and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a sister, Sandra Padden.
