Suzanne Celeste Janda

Suzanne Celeste (Watters) Janda, 93, cherished wife of the late John E. Janda, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the Reading Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 9, 1932, she was a beloved daughter of the late William and Marion (Hodgson) Watters.

Suzanne was a devoted member of St. Thomas More Church and a proud participant in the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Thomas More Parish. Known for her incredible baking skills and the joy she brought to family gatherings, she filled her home with warmth and love. A passionate gardener and avid reader, Suzanne also enjoyed crafting. Her family fondly remembers her extensive collection of Beanie Babies, a testament to her playful spirit. Suzanne is lovingly remembered for the impact she made on the lives of so many.

Suzanne's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her surviving family members, her children: Nancy Janda, William Janda, Christopher Janda, Patricia Janda, and Jennifer Gadsby, along with 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Edward Janda.

The family will invite friends and loved ones for a viewing to be held on April 23, 2026 at St. Thomas More Church, Pottstown from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., celebrating the rich and vibrant life she led.

Suzanne will be laid to rest at St. Aloysius Cemetery, where her memory will forever remain a treasured part of our lives.

In this time of remembrance, let us celebrate Suzanne's life and the profound love she shared, embracing the legacy she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
