Susan Marie (Torak) Kochu, 61, wife of James A. Kochu of Boyertown, PA passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Eastern Regional Medical Center, Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia, PA Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late George M. and Theresa M. (Robb) Torak. Susan was a member of St. Columbkill R.C.C., 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, PA . She had worked for the American Cancer Society's local Relay for Life and had helped as a financial planner for Primamerica Financial Services of Quakertown, PA. Sue enjoyed helping people in financial distress, spending time with her family, camping and going to the beach. Susan had worked for 27 years as a coordinator at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in nursing and nutrition. After her time at the hospital she worked with her loving husband at their business Sweet Beginnings in Boyertown, PA Surviving with her husband Jim is a daughter Jennifer Lynn Levengood of Boyertown, PA. Also a son Scott David Levengood husband of Danielle of Gilbertsville, PA and a daughter Kristi Marie wife of Mitchell Bauer of Bechtelsville, PA. She is also survived by two brothers George M. Torak, Sr. husband of Suzanne of Birdsboro, PA and Thomas J. Torak husband of Elizabeth of Pawlet, Vermont. She is survived by three sisters Rose Mary wife of Eugene Green of Gilbertsville, PA, Mary Ann widow of Al Hocke of Lancaster, PA and Patricia wife of Ray Montana of Friendship, Maine. She is also survived by three grandchildren Morgan, Hailey and Scott Levengood and a host of nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held from 6 – 9 P.M. on Thursday September 29, 2016 at St. Columbkill's R.C.C. A viewing will also be held on Friday morning September 30, 2016 from 10 – 10:45 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. at St. Columbkill's R.C.C. Private entombment will be held at the discretion of the family in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Columbkill R.C.C.
