Susan Elizabeth Jones

Susan Elizabeth (Kohn) Jones, 76, widow of J. Bradley Jones of Kulp Road, East Coventry Township passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Born in Hubbardston, Michigan she was the daughter of the late John & Eva (Houck) Kohn. Susan was a long-time volunteer for Birthright of Pottstown, PA . She had also been a C.C.D. teacher at St. Thomas More R.C.C. She was a previous girl scout leader and involved in numerous community projects. Susan along with her late husband were foster parents to many children in particular the Bui and Dang families. Surviving are three sons Craig Jones husband of Lori of Naples, Florida, Kurt Jones of Pottstown, PA and Scott Jones husband of Erin of Orrtanna, PA . She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several brothers & sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA on Monday February 2, 2015 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. A viewing will be on Monday from 9:30-10:45 A.M. in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Birthright of Pottstown, 327 King Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
