Stanley J. Wayock

Stanley J. Wayock, 93, a resident of Manatawny Manor Nursing Home passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at Pottstown Hospital. He was the widower of Sara L. (Roeller) Wayock who he married in 1947 and who he spent 27 years with until her passing in 1974. Stanley then married Sarah (Morris) Naimoli Wayock who he spent the next 40 years with until her passing in 2018. After Sarah's passing Stanley became a volunteer at Manatawny Manor. Born in Pottstown, PA Stanley was the son of the late George and Mary (Gresko) Wayock. Stanley had worked for most of his life as a manager for Reading Foundry. a Plumbing & Heating supply store in Pottstown, PA. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of World War II. After the Marine Corp he played baseball for the Industrial League in Pottstown, PA until he turned 30 and received the nickname "Honey". He was an avid golfer in various leagues and had a hole-in-one in 1987 at Arrowhead Golf Course. Stanley was also a bowler in the Arrow League in Pottstown bowling a high score of 299. He was also a member of the Pottstown Elks Lodge. Surviving is a daughter Karen wife of Robert D. Harp of Boyertown, PA. He is also survived by two grandsons Brad Harp husband of Dana of Douglassville, PA and Jeff Harp of Exeter. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren Corrine, Kyle, Connor, Logan & Lucas. He was also pre-deceased by three brothers George, Thomas & Gerald Wayock. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2020 in Holy Trinity R.C.C. 370 South Street, Pottstown, PA at 11 A.M. A viewing will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2020  prior to the Mass at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 E. High St., Pottstown, PA from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe, PA In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Manatawny Manor Nursing Home 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
