Sean W Crisman

Sean William Crisman, 40, of Pottstown, passed away as a result of complications from diabetes on February 7, 2024 at Reading Hospital.

He was a son of Laura Lee (Wesh) and the late Andrew J. Crisman. Sean's memory will be cherished by his beloved mother Laura and those he leaves behind: his older brother Andrew J. Crisman Jr. (along with his wife Shannon M. McFarland) and his younger brother Patrick J. Crisman.

Sean was a humble and unassuming man of kindness and generosity who found happiness in the everyday moments others often overlook. He found beauty in uncomplicated joys and shared that appreciation with those around him. In addition to his appreciation for life's simple pleasures, Sean was a devoted friend and family member and was always willing to support those he loved and those who might benefit from his strength. He made everyone around him feel at ease, and he couldn't help but engage every cashier at Wawa or restaurant server in a conversation or with a joke as a way of making a connection.

Sean was a gifted athlete with exceptional strength who excelled at track and field and football, a sport he loved and studied his entire life. Sean loved all Philadelphia sports teams, and his favorite pastime was watching their games with his family and friends. Later in life Sean discovered a creativity that allowed him to complete many projects as gifts for his family, most of which involved working with his hands in his workshop in Pottstown.

Sean was tenacious and resilient through all of the challenges life presented to him and we hope that his gentle goodwill and shining smile will continue to warm the hearts of those he touched. As we come to terms with our loss, we take comfort in our understanding that Sean's spirit will endure in even the smallest acts of kindness he inspired. We ask all who knew Sean to honor his memory with us by carrying forward his gratitude for life's simple pleasures and by using his memory as a reminder to find happiness in the joy of everyday moments.
