Sally Tornetta

Sally Tornetta, 73, of Pottstown, passed away surrounded by family in her home on November 21, 2022.Â

Born in Norristown, Sally was the daughter of the late Salvatore DeStefano and the late Theresa (Biscotti) DeStefano. Sally graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ursinus College. Sally was an active St. Thomas More Parish member and walked in a NeoCatechumenal Way community. She worked in the field of Information Technology, and in the offices of Phoenixville School District, Pennridge School District, and St. Elizabeth's school. Sally also spent 8 years as a missionary until she returned home and taught at Mater Laetitae School.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, John Tornetta.

Sally is survived by a son, Jason, and daughter-in-law Donna (Ferreri-Bozzelli), and grandchildren: Jayda, Maria, Danni, and Justin; a daughter, Jonette, and son-in-law Matthew Cardwell, and grandchildren: James, Mia, and Johnny.

Sally's siblings are Elaine Horvath (Frank), S. David DeStefano (Kathy), the late Donna Marie DeStefano, the late Ronald DeStefano (Donna), Maureen DeStefano (Mary Morrison), Jimmy DeStefano (Patrice), Brenda Shepperd (Mark) and Paul DeStefano (Lisa), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and Godchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be offered 11 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 in St. Thomas More RC Church, Route 100 and Cadmus Road, S. Coventry. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. Friends may call (visitation) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Church and Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. until the Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sally for the youth of St. Thomas More parish to

make a pilgrimage for the World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal in 2023. Donations can be made to St.
