Ruth F. Grealey

Ruth F. Grealey, 84, widow of Claude W. Grealey of Pottstown, PA died Sunday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Fecak and Florence Saltzer. Ruth was head secretary in the business department of the Hill School in Pottstown, PA for fifty-five years until her retirement in 2002. Ruth loved to cook and donated to numerous animal shelters and societies. Surviving is a son Daniel T. Schmoyer of Pottstown, PA and two daughters Gail L. Grealey of Altoona, PA and Donna Jean Schmoyer of Pottstown, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a brother Donald Smoyer husband of Ann of the Pocono's and a sister-in-law Tekie Wise of Kimberton, PA . Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 P.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Sherry Lantz, pastor of Cedarville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park , Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 P.M. and Thursday morning from noon to 1 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society c/o National Penn Bank 1830 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 or to an animal rescue or shelter of ones choice in Ruth's name.
