Ruth L. Evans

Ruth L. Evans, 95, widow of Theodore R. Evans Sr. passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at her residence. Born in Camden, NJ. she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Wort.  Ruth was employed by the RCA Corporation and was a member of Pughtown Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Theodore R. Evans Jr. and two daughters Joanne M., Wife of Frank S. Knipe and Linda J., Wife of Louis Mandile. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Warren Wert. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11am at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 High St. Pottstown. A viewing will be held Thursday morning from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Brandywine SPCA.
