Ruben Delgado

Ruben Delgado, 78 passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was the son of Manuela (Burgos) and Saro Delgado.

Ruben enjoyed gardening and being outdoors in Mother Nature. In the summer he would spend his hours planting flowers and vegetables. He was always willing to help someone in need even if it meant that he had to do without. Ruben believed in living life to the fullest and enjoying all the moments life had to offer. Up until the very end he had to play his lottery numbers and scratch offs.

Ruben is survived by his children's: Armando Delgado (of Boston), Ruben Delgado (of Boston), Carmen Iris Delgado ( of Boston), Georgia Straub (of Sunbury), James Delgado ( of Spring City), and Brenda Delgado (of Michigan). He has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Ruben is loved by many nieces and nephews and his companion who he lived with for 35 years, Darlene Ott. Ruben was predeceased by son Jamie Lee Delgado.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. A service will be held promptly at 11 a.m at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Pottstown Cemetery West.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to sister Carmen Tellado in support of handling costs for a headstone for Ruben.
