Roxanne Betts

Roxanne Betts, affectionately known as Foxy Roxy, 62, of Pottstown, peacefully went back home to her Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2021. She was the devoted wife of the late Calvin Betts, Sr.

Born in Pottstown on March 2, 1959, a daughter of the late John A. Rome, Sr. and Eunice M. Rome.

Roxy was employed with the Montgomery Co. Geriatric Center for several years. She was last employed with Southeastern Veteran Center, serving our veterans for several years.

She enjoyed music and dancing, specifically to the song "Funky Nassau". She also liked drawing and socializing. But Foxy Roxy was known for her love of her classic car, her Money Green Plymouth Barracuda.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Krystaly Aisha Rome and her dear friend, Mark White, Sr. both of Pottstown; her five precious grandchildren, Reynone, Dakari, Michael, Marcellus and Marquise and her five devoted siblings, Eunice L. Rome of Pottstown, Gracie Rome of Pottstown, Stephanie White of Pottstown, John Rome, Jr. of Philadelphia and Juanita Rome of Pottstown.

Roxy also leaves behind a host of extended family and close friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by a brother, Mark Rome.

Homegoing services will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N. Keim St. Pottstown, PA 19464. A viewing will be in the church from 9 to 10am on Wednesday. Roxy will be laid to rest in Birdsboro Cemetery, Birdsboro. Professional services entrusted to Warker ~ Troutman Funeral Home, Inc., Pottstown.
