Rose V. Mihalcik

Rose V. (Ochrymowicz) Mihalcik, 96, widow of George Mihalcik of the Berkshire Center, Exeter Township passed away on Monday September 5, 2016 at the Berkshire Center. Born in Manayunk, PA she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Valeria (Polakowski) Ochrymowicz. Mrs. Mihalcik had worked as a button- holer for the Pottstown Public Shirt Works formerly of Pottstown, PA for 35 years before her retirement in 1982. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 301 Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA. She was also a former member of St. John's Guild. Surviving is a son George Mihalcik companion of Linda Hanus of Reading, PA and a daughter Virginia wife of Wayne Krick also of Reading, PA . She is also survived by a granddaughter Melissa Wagner wife of Rusty Wagner and two Great Grandchildren Nicholas Wagner and Alexis Rose Wagner. Mrs. Mihalcik is survived by a sister Mary Lopuski of North Coventry Township. She is pre-deceased by two brothers Stephen and Michael Ocrymowicz and a sister Ann Gavaghan. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church on Friday September 9, 2016 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery. A viewing will be Friday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA.
