Rose Marie Critzer

Rose Marie Critzer, 76, passed away peacefully October 8, 2023, at Fairland Gardens, Reading, Pennsylvania.

She was a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Rose Marie (Garcia) Critzer.

Rose Marie is survived by her sisters: Virginia Takach (Gene), Yvonne Stamm (William) and Bernadette "Butsy" McElroy (Frank). She is also survived by her nephews Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Bicer, John (Heather) Bicer, Jason (Nancy) Brezski), Randall Brezski, Wesley (Katie) McElroy, Nicholas Takach (Sushmitha) and nieces Samantha (John) Horosky and Emily Solomon (Kith) and many great nieces and nephews.

Rosie was a 1964 graduate of St., Pius X High School where she was a star basketball player for four years. She also attended Gwynedd Mercy College and taught elementary school at St. Jude's Catholic School, Chalfont, PA. Rosie also worked as an executive for Bell Telephone and AT&T until her retirement to her beloved Puerto Rico and lived there for several years before returning to the Pottstown area. She loved fancy cars and watching the Eagles and Phillies. Her pride and joy were her nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, October 13th, 2023 from 10am to 11am in the Gathering Center at St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, Pennsylvania 19464. Mass will follow promptly at 11am.

Inurnment is to be determined at a later date.
