Rose I. Kuback

Rose I. Kuback, 92 widow of John F. Kuback of Fairhope, Alabama and formerly of Pottstown, PA died Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Oakland Place, Fairhope, Alabama. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Franckowiak) Piontek. Mrs. Kuback had worked in Quality Control for Philco Ford of Lansdale, PA for many years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of St. Lawrence R.C.C. in Fairhope, Alabama and a former member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. in Pottstown, PA She was a volunteer for the Red Cross while living in Pottstown driving handicapped children to therapy. She loved traveling to Europe with her late husband. Surviving is a daughter Sandra L. wife of Edmund A. Dowling of Fairhope, Alabama. Also, two grandchildren Marilea Gordon of Mobile, Alabama and Jennifer Grill wife of Jean-Marc Wise of Tallahassee, Florida. Also, four great-grandchildren Powell, Rose & Margaret Elizabeth Gordon and Noah Wise. She was pre-deceased by six brothers John, Stanley, Leo, Henry, Edward & Wallace Piontek. She was also pre-deceased by a sister Florence Prodromos. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets on Friday April 8, 2011 at 11 A.M. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Laureldale, PA . The family will receive friends in the gathering center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Friday from 10 – 11 A.M.
