Ronald Edward Gumbarge

Ronald E. Gumbarge, 62, of Pottstown, passed away August 29, 2021 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the son of Diane (Brown) Gumbarge and the late Edward Gumbarge.

Ronald was a Graduate of Pottstown High School where he lettered in three sports. He excelled in football and even went on the play for a period of time in college. Ronald proceeded to get his teaching degree and taught at Pottstown High School. Along with his love of football and other sports he enjoyed hunting, weight lifting and fishing.

Along with his mother Diane, Ronald is survived by his son Zachary Ronald Gumbarge and a daughter Dara Nichole Brown (Justin). Two grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his sister Debra Gumbarge.

A public viewing will be held from 10 A.M. to Noon on September 7, 2021 at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc. located at 726 E. High St., Pottstown. A service and reflections of Ronald's life will be at Noon on September 7, 2021 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
