Robert A. Stonesifer

Robert A. Stonesifer, beloved husband of Ann Marie (Erb) Stonesifer of Boyertown, PA passed away on Sunday January 22, 2017 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA . Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Paul and Alice (Brandt) Stonesifer. Bob has worked for many years for Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. formerly of Pottstown, PA. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of Vietnam and was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., Pottstown, PA . Robert's family had described him as strong, loving, caring & gentle and for many years the most amazing man. He was a loved husband, father and grandfather. Surviving with his wife is a daughter Alyssa K. wife of Zachariah Glick of Pottstown, PA and a granddaughter Avery Rebecca Glick. He is also survived by three sisters; Kathryn Kovatch wife of William of Pottstown, PA, Dorothy Shanley wife of Donald of Douglassville, PA and Ruth Shaner of Blandon, PA . He is also pre-deceased by three brothers Paul, Joseph and Richard Stonesifer. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA on Thursday January 26, 2017 at 11 A.M. A viewing will be held prior to the Mass from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High St. Pottstown, PA from 9 - 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 1626 Locust St. Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to the Alzheimers Association 399 Market St., #102 Philadelphia, PA 19106.
