Robert Sauerbrey

Robert F. Sauerbrey, Jr., aged 74, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 22, 2021.

Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, Carol (Shank) Sauerbrey and his children, Sean Sauerbrey, husband of Barbara Faye and Colette (Sauerbrey) wife of David Bartok.

Bob was a loving father and Grandpop to his children and grandchildren Colin, Lillian and Nathan Bartok and Maggie Sauerbrey. Ever the optimist, he cherished spending time with family and friends, sharing a smile and good word for everyone. He enjoyed political debates, always arguing for the conservative viewpoint.

Bob was a graduate of St. Pius X , class of 1965. He served in the US Army, guarding the Berlin Wall from 1966-68 during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Dana Corporation in 2003 and loved going to the beach - Jersey Shore, Ocean City, MD and the Outer Banks, NC.

Friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life with his family on December 1, 2021 at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc., 726 E High Street, Pottstown. Visitation with family begins at 10 a.m. followed by the service at 11A.M., with interment thereafter at Mt Zion Cemetery.
