Robert M. Murphy

Robert M. Murphy, Jr. 44, husband of Rose (Fazio) Murphy of Chestnut Hill Road, South Coventry Township, died Monday May 23, 2011 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center Pottstown, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD he is the son of Robert M. Murphy, Sr. and Gloria E. (Wirth) Murphy of Warwick Township. Robert had first worked for West End Lumber Co. in Houston, Texas for seven years after which he worked for Bradco, Inc. in Malvern for fifteen years as a warehouse foreman. He was a member of St. Thomas More R.C.C. in South Coventry Township. He was also a member of the operating engineer's union. Surviving with his wife and parents are two sons Shawn Murphy husband of Audrey of Topton, PA and Joseph Goldyn of South Coventry Township. Also, two daughters Heather wife of John Mortzfield of Downington, PA and Ashley Murphy of Coatesville, PA and three grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Lisa Marie wife of Michael Haggard of Elkton, MD and maternal grandparents Gordon and Mary Wirth of Pasadena, MD A viewing will be Friday evening May 27, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas More R.C.C. 2101 Pottstown Pike, South Coventry Township on Saturday May 28, 2011 at 11 A.M. A viewing will be from 10 - 11 A.M. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery West Brandywine Township.
