Robert David Levengood

Robert David "BeBop" Levengood, Sr. beloved husband of Susan Marie (Corrigan) Levengood of Pottstown, PA passed away on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, E. Coventry Township. Robert and Susan were married for forty-six years. Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Daniel Webster Levengood, Sr. and Dorothy Virginia (Bell) Levengood. Robert was a refrigeration technician for Glaxo-Smith Kline for 30 years. More recently he was a maintenance technician for Motel-6.  He was a member of the Pike Township Sportsman's club and the Holy Trinity Club of Pottstown, PA . Surviving with his wife is a son Robert David Levengood, Jr. of Pottstown, PA and a daughter Dorothy Virginia wife of Henry Scott Reimert of Bel Air, MD . He is also survived by five grandchildren Henry Jacob Reimert, Leah Marie Levengood, Alexander Scott Reimert, Katelyn Rose Reimert and Kristian Jack Warnock. He is survived by three sisters Joanne Matthews wife of Ronald, Melissa Levengood and Elaine Moore.  He is pre-deceased by a brother Daniel Webster Levengood, Jr. and a sister Dawn Fazekas.  Robert is also survived by his mother-in-law Nancy S. Corrigan and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High St., Pottstown, PA with the Rev. John Smolik, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Pottstown, PA officiating.  There will be a viewing prior to the services from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, North Coventry Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
