It is with profound sadness that we announce Robert (Bob) Greenway, 85, passed away on August 16, 2024.
Robert served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He was proud to serve his country and for the people in it. After retiring from the military, he began his profession in the computer engineering field, eventually finding his passion in sales – a role which he excelled at.
Although he had many hobbies including restoring antique cars, gardening and fishing, his main joy in life was his family. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual that always provided for his family. He was a great teacher and a resource of knowledge who taught us strength and resilience. For that we feel blessed and eternally grateful.
Robert is survived by three children, Gary, Nicole, and Amy; two grandchildren, Ashley and Scott; two sisters, Betty and Emily; and one brother, Jerry. He is predeceased by the love of his life and beloved wife of 52 years, Lynn; his beloved son, Jeff; parents, Gordon and Daisy; and several siblings.
We have faith his journey has not ended and that he continues to do remarkable things alongside his wife and son.
"Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you; until we meet again!"
Warker – Troutman Funeral Home Inc is honored to serve the Greenway family.
