Robert Corum

Robert Corum, affectionately known as "Bo", husband of the late Mary Agnes Corum, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Pottstown Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Robert was born in Pottstown to the late William "Ace" Corum and Mary Williams (Corum, WIlliams).

Robert attended Pottstown schools before entering the Armed Forces. Upon returning he soon married his high school sweetheart, Mary. This union lasted 67 years and was blessed with one child, Renee Plummer (Corum). Robert was a member of the Montgomery Lodge #1271 in Pottstown. He served many years as a trusted lodge doorman. On many weekends you would see him dancing and singing on the dance floor. He was employed by Firestone & Rubber and Occidental Chemical Corporation for 39 years, most of which he worked 12-14 hour seven days per week.

Besides his family his greatest passion was the game of golf. When he wasn't working he would enjoy his free time at several of our area golf courses.

Robert leaves to cherish fond memories to his one daughter, Renee Plummer (Corum) of Trenton, NJ., his Three brothers: Richard Corum(Ethel) of Pottstown, Oliver Corum of Exeter and Charles D. Corum(Ruby) of Bel Air, Md. Two loving grandchildren, Lloyd L. Plummer Jr and Robert M. Plummer and six great-grandchildren; Xiomara Raffaele (17), Ava Collier (16), Jalexia Oquendo (13), Makaila Plummer (12), Elijah Pacana (7) and Lloyd Pummer III (4).

He is predeceased by his wife Mary Agnes Corum and his three brothers, Theodore Williams, James WIlliams, and William Corum Jr, and his sister Dorothy Mcball (Corum).

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc. Followed by a graveside service at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
