Robert J. Butler, 72, husband of Dawn "Blondie" (Rubright) Butler of May Street, Pottstown, PA died Saturday at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry Township. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Mahlon and Rose (Allen) Butler. Robert was a crane operator for Mayer Pollock Company of Pottstown, PA . He was a member of the Pottstown Moose Lodge and the former Pottstown American Legion. Surviving, with his wife is a son Robert J. Butler, Jr. husband of Janice. Also, three daughters Roxanne wife of Michael Faison, Rosalie wife of Salvadore Fontan and Lauren Butler. He is also survived by a brother Alfred Butler and eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by four brothers Mahlon, John, Ambrose and Wendell Butler and three sisters Mary Glover, Harriett Brandon and Josephine Butler. A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday August 30, 2013 at 10 A.M. from Walnut Street Community 7th Day Adventist Church 543 Walnut Street, Pottstown, PA with Pastor Brooke Butler officiating.
