Robert J. Aulenbach Jr., 81, of Boyertown, PA husband of Helen ( Pinder ) Aulenbach, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Born June 3, 1944 in Avon Park, FL, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Dorothy (Carson) Aulenbach, Sr.
Bobby led a life with purpose, taking immense pride in his role as supervisor at Douglass Berks Township and as a devoted Mason with Stichter Lodge No. 254. He found joy in his passions, particularly with classic cars where he devoted 15 years as president of the Pottstown Classic Car Club. His hobbies include golfing, bowling, camping, boating, fishing, NHRA racing, and woodworking. He also embraced life with the same passion he had for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.
A man of deep faith, Bobby was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, where he fostered a sense of community and connection. Yet, above all, he was a family man. His commitment to being present at every sporting event, horse show, bowling match, and cheerleading competition for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren is a testament to the love and dedication he had for his family, which includes his daughter Kimberly Smith (husband Tom), daughter Kelly Behm (husband Mike), and sister Judy Gibbs. Bobby will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Ashley Kulp (husband Tyler), Becky Fizz (husband Kyle), Bryan Behm (fiancee Rebecca), and Vicki Behm, along with his four wonderful great-grandchildren: Kayla Kulp, Makenzie Fizz, Allayna Kulp, and Kyle "KJ".
A viewing will be held on Monday February 23, 2026 from 9 am until 11 am at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home Inc, 726 E High St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A service celebrating Bobby's life will follow at 11 am.
