Rita J. (DeMario) Miller, 86, wife of Raymond R. Miller of Schoolhouse Road, East Coventry Township passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA . Rita & Raymond had been married for forty years. Born in Stowe, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (D'Angelo) DeMario. Rita had been employed for fifty years at Pottstown Metal Welding Co. where she had been an office manager. She had also later worked at Boscov's as a salesperson. She was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C.127 East Howard Street, Stowe, PA where she was also a member of the church's woman's club. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Lodge in Stowe, PA and a member of the Pottstown Senior Circle. Rita was an avid bowler and loved to Polka dance. Surviving with her husband are two sisters Mary wife of Salvatore Antonucci of North Wales, PA and Anna Streissguth of Alameda, CA and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Buchert Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township. A viewing will be Friday from 9-10:20 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. 127 East Howard Street, Stowe, PA 19464.
