Richard L Myer

Richard L. Myer, 94, husband of the late Arvilla E. (Boose) Myer, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Samuel R. And Emily B. (Arment) Myer.

Richard had a passion for life that shone through in all his pursuits. An avid golfer and car enthusiast, he found joy in the thrill of the game and the beauty of well-crafted automobiles. His love for cooking brought family and friends together around the dinner table, where many cherished conversations and memories were made. Traveling was another of his passions, as he sought to explore new places and connect with the world around him. Richard also enjoyed the excitement of casinos. He found peace and happiness in the sun, cherishing the simple pleasure of being outdoors. Richard was a proud US Army Veteran. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him. 

Richard is survived by his children: R. Craig Myer (wife Ann), Shelly D. Marino (husband Richard), Leslie E. Myer, two grandsons Richard Ryan Marino and Benjamin C. Myer (wife Becky).

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
