Richard J Fly

Richard J. Fly Jr, 59, fiancée of Kimberly Pfeffer, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida.

He was a son of the late Richard J. and Virginia (Fahie) Fly Sr.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his children who he loved and was so proud of each one of them as he watched them grow into adults. He loved the outdoors while exploring their 300-acre family farm, fishing, hunting, and supporting the NRA. He was an extraordinary woodworker; he could turn a few pieces of wood into a masterpiece. Richard spent hours in his workshop creating all types of unique pieces.

He always dreamed of owning a home in FL to retire; his dream came true on March 30. He made so many wonderful friends, enjoyed riding around on his golf cart, smiling and waving to everyone. Richard's smile was so infectious that you had to smile and wave back at him. He loved his two dogs Madison and Teddy and his feathered friend Jojo.

He also liked to travel. His favorite place to visit was Las Vegas and playing the slots. The stock market was also something that he followed everyday as he dabbled with his buying and selling of stocks. Richard also had strong political views and if you knew him you knew what he stood behind and spent many days in Facebook jail for his strong opinions.

Along with his fiancée Kimberly, Richard is survived by his three children and a stepdaughter who he loved with his whole heart. Richard J Fly lll of Seattle, WA, Jessica Fly (fiancée of Benjamin Radvany) of Clarksville, TN, Kaitlyn Fly (partner of Logan Yakub) of Hummelstown, Pa and Rebecca Fizz (wife of Kyle Fizz) of Exeter, Pa. Two step grandchildren Makenzie and Kyle Jr Fizz. Two sisters, Michelle Parr (wife of Richard Parr) of Tunkhannock, Pa and Theresia Ruback of Wyalusing, Pa.

Richard is predeceased by a niece Megan Parr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc. 726 E. High St., Pottstown. A public viewing will be held prior to service from 9:30 A.M.- 10:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Pottstown.
