Reynold "Randy" Geisler, 86, husband of the late Verna (Petinko) Geisler of Southeastern Veteran's Center, Spring City, PA and formerly of Pottstown, PA died Saturday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Emily (Rhoads) Geisler. Randy was a draftsman for Bethlehem Steel Corporation, formerly of Pottstown, PA and later worked for Doehler-Jarvis Company formerly of Stowe, PA . He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he served in the European and the Pacific theatres of operation. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Cherry Street, Pottstown, PA. He was also a former member of the Maria Assunta Lodge, St. Gabriel's Lodge, the Pottstown Elks Lodge and the Eagles Association and the Holy Trinity Club where he was a part-time bartender. Randy was an avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling and had played in a pool shooting and dart throwing league. He also enjoyed music and was one of the original members and a former coach of the former Town Toy Little League of Pottstown. Randy is survived by two sons Randy Geisler,husband of Monica of Pottstown, PA and Bruce Geisler of Whitehall, PA and a daughter Stacie Geisler of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by three grandchildren Nicki and Brad Geisler and Trisa McAveney and a great-granddaughter Peyton McAveney. He is also survived by a brother Richard Geisler husband of Pat of Gilbertsville, PA and a sister Joanne widow of Ed Short of Pottstown, PA. He is pre-deceased by a brother Linwood Geisler. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 11 A.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Nicholas DeProspero, pastor of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, North Hanover Street Pottstown, PA with full military honors. A viewing will be Wednesday from 10 – 11 A.M. at the funeral Home.
