Ray John Wagner

Ray John Wagner, 76, of Pottstown, PA, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026, at the Pottstown Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith Wagner.

Born on January 11, 1950, he was the son of the late Leon and Blanche (Buzza) Wagner Sr. Ray proudly served his country as an Army veteran, instilling in his family a deep sense of pride and respect for service. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for dirt track racing at Grandview, following NASCAR, and enjoying the thrill of Pottsgrove High School football games as well as cheering for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ray found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was exploring flea markets, tending to his lawn, or watching old military movies with his favorite snacks at hand. His larger-than-life personality and infectious laughter brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: daughters Amy Malick and her husband Anthony, Ian Williams and her husband Frank (Brownie), and daughter in law Robin Saylor; daughter-in-law Dawn Rees and her husband Glenn; grandchildren Sara Hall and her husband Derek, Lisa Nicastro and her husband R.J., Memphis Malick, Sophia Malick, Christina Saylor, Erin Abner, and Kaiden Williams as well as his brother Roy Wagner and sister Diane Schultz.

Ray is also predeceased by his stepbrothers Leon Wagner Jr. and Albert Wagner.
