Phyllis Maddaloni Villano

Phyllis Patricia Villano (Maddaloni), 84, widow of the late Roger D. Villano, of Stowe, passed away

Sunday, August 18 th , 2024, at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Philip F. and Caroline Maddaloni (Dindino). Phyllis was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She attended St. Aloysius Grade School and was part of the first graduating class from St. Pius X High School in 1957. She received her nursing degree (RN) from Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. She was a caring nurse at Pottstown Hospital for her entire career, encompassing over 40 years, retiring in 2003. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Parish in Stowe where she lectured regularly at daily mass for many years and often led the recitation of the rosary.

Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as her extended family, often hosting and cooking meals for everyone. Her summers were spent at her beach house in Cape May where she enjoyed countless hours on the beach with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses and flower beds and you could almost always find her working there. She was an avid photographer, taking pictures and creating photo albums long before smart phones existed.

She leaves behind her memories to be cherished by her children: Kevin D. Villano, Jacqueline McNamara, and Anthony P. Villano (wife Denys), grandchildren: Morgan and Madison McNamara, and Nicholas and Eric Villano, brothers: Dr. Philip Maddaloni (wife Mary Anne), Thomas Maddaloni (wife Deven), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and their children.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Parish

Church, at 11 a.m. located at 127 E. Howard Street in Stowe, PA, 19464. Visitation begins at 10:00AM at the church.

Phyllis will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Aloysius Cemetery, 800 Block of Buchert Road, Pottstown, PA

19464.
