Philomena Bracaglia

Philomena Bracaglia, 97, loving wife of the late John A Bracaglia, peacefully passed away on November 17, 2025, surrounded by her family in Reading Hospital Tower Health.

Philomena was born in Stowe, to the late Fortunato and Maria Tufani. Predeceased by brother Anthony and sister Catharine.

A devoted member of the church, Philomena was a member of St. Gabriel's Ladies Lodge, St. Gabriel Women's Society and St. Gabriel's Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the board of directors of the P.M.M.C. Senior Circle.

She with her husband John proudly tended to and grew a vegetable garden that fed her family and friends with tomatoes, peppers, watermelons and more. She worked as machine operator at Rixie Paper Products of Stowe for 28 years until her retirement.

She was one of three remaining graduates from her high school class at West Pottsgrove and the most senior member of St. Gabriel Church and St. Gabriel Lodge.

Philomena is survived by her sons; John Jr. and James Bracaglia; daughter Maria DiMarco; sister, Lucille, wife of the late Peter Doviak; grandchildren James Ryan Bracaglia (Rachel), Anthony DiMarco (Kim) and Miranda DiMarco. Also survived by nieces Dana Doviak and Carla McCalister and nephews Peter J. Doviak and Louis A. Bracaglia, Jr. and a number of cousins.

A public viewing will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, at 10 A.M. in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church located at 127 Jefferson St, Stowe, PA 19464. Mass will be held 11 A.M. at the church.

 Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Gabriel's Memorial Fund, 127 Jefferson St, Stowe, PA 19464.
