Philip G. Keogh

Philip G. Keogh, Jr., 73, husband of Karen M. (Bunt) Keogh of Lewes, DE and formerly of Sanatoga, PA passed away on Sunday September 25, 2016 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA . Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Philip G. Keogh, Sr. and Grace T. (Steffler) Keogh. Philip was a graduate of LaSalle College in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in business administration. He had worked as a Systems Engineer for Philco Ford, Unisys Corporation and finally at Lockhead Martin retiring in 2012. While living in this area Philip was a member of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Douglassville, PA were he also served on the vestry board. He had also served on the board of the Pottsgrove School District for 24 years. He was a member of the Lower Pottsgrove Sportsmans Club where he enjoyed trap shooting. After moving to Delaware he enjoyed crabbing and fishing on his boat. He loved working in his yard and his dogs. Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Kimberly A. wife of Richard A. Patton, Jr. of Stowe, PA; Kristin L. Keogh and Kathie E. Keogh both of Sanatoga, PA . He is also survived by three grandchildren Gregory Patton husband of Amber, Stacey wife of Steven McCoy and Stephanie Patton. He is also survived by a great-grandson Chase Patton. Philip was pre-deceased by two grandchildren Richard & Philip Patton. He is also survived by a sister Kathleen A. Keogh of Stuart, FL and a brother Robert J. Keogh husband of Marge of Sewell, NJ . A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 3 P.M. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Frank Wallner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 – 3 P.M. at the funeral home.
