Patrick Aloysius Serba

Patrick Aloysius Serba, 89, of Douglassville, passed away in the Reading Hospital on Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Irene Olga (Corbett) Serba. Sadly, Irene passed July 3, 2021.

Born in Reading on March 17, 1932, Patrick was a son of the late Theodore and Harriett (Ustaszewski) Serba. He was a graduate of Reading Catholic High School. He was a member of St. Aloysius RCC parish, Pottstown.

He was employed for several years as a manager with Firestone Tire & Rubber until the plant closed. He then was employed with Wagner Electric and Finer Lines.

Patrick enjoyed golfing, basketball and volleyball. He enjoyed going on family vacations, specifically to Ocean City, NJ. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are a brother, Theodore Serba, Jr, husband of the late Janet (Boyer) Serba; two daughters, Wendy A. (Serba) Lawrence and her husband, William and Stacy Serba and her husband, Kevin Kercher; five grandchildren, Amanda (Lawrence) Ulrey and her husband, Richard, Corbett Lawrence, Katherine Kercher, KerryLyn Kercher and Kelly (Kercher) Ianiero and her husband, Brendon; four great grandchildren, Perrin Ulrey, Corbett Ulrey, Avery Lawrence and Arden Lawrence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 in St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Patrick will be laid to rest beside Irene in St. Aloysius (New) Cemetery, Pottstown.
