Patricia E. Hennessey, 87, passed away May 2, 2026 in Pottstown Hospital. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Robert Francis Hennessey and the daughter of Mary and Peter Karpinski. She was raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Pottstown High School.
Patricia was a devoted member of St. Aloysius Church. She was a member of Preferred Partners, a woman's stock club in Pottstown. She was known for her love of cooking and baking, she filled her home with warmth and love. Patricia loved traveling, especially to Hawaii with her husband. She enjoyed flowers, chardonnay and dining with her friends.
In her early years, Patricia began her career at Bethlehem Steele. After moving to Almaden, California, she started working with IBM and continued with the company until her retirement. After her retirement, she continued her career as an owner of Valley Forge Spring Water.
Patricia is survived by her loving children: Karen Soto and her husband Dale of Lewes, Delaware, Robert F. Hennessey and his wife Jennifer of Chocowinity, North Carolina and Michael Hennessey and his fiancée Karen of Limerick, Pennsylvania. She had seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kristen and Cass Soto, Robert F. and Matthew Hennessey, Sean and Collin Hennessey.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at St. Aloysius Church in the Gathering Center from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Mass will begin at 11:30 AM in the church.
Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the charity or cause of your choice.
