Patricia M. Gilroy

Patricia M. (Babel) Gilroy, 78, wife of Charles Gilroy, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Pottstown Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Tassey) Babel Sr.

Pat was very active in St. James Lutheran Church, where she served as a past member of the Church Council, Faith Band participant and a member of Women of St. James. She loved to go to the beach, especially her beloved Ocean City, N.J. Also, Pat loved crafting, spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her husband, Patricia leaves behind her memories to be cherished by her children: Scott Gilroy (wife Desiree), Kelly Owens (husband Kevin), Kevin Gilroy, Christopher Gilroy (wife Heather), 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews and everyone who called her mom.

She is predeceased by a brother, John "Jack" Babel Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd, Limerick, PA 19468. A visitation will be held prior to service at the church from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m.
