Patricia "Patti" Earle, at the age of 70, went home to Jesus peacefully on May 29, 2023. Born and raised in Norristown, PA, Patti took great joy in her work, holding long-term jobs, often more than one at a time, working until just early in 2023. She enjoyed her colleagues and co-workers, at Genuardi's, Giant, and Park House and appreciated their support during her illness.
Born on January 16, 1953 to Donald and Jeanne (Kehoe) Earle, Patti relished her position as the middle child of three daughters. She attended St. Patrick School and Bishop Kenrick and graduated from Norristown High School. At a young age, nothing made Patti happier than spending time with the family dog and cats. This love of pets was always important to Patti; at the time of her passing, she cared for and dearly loved her precious dog Audi and her cats, Baby, Lexie and Russell. Patti loved being busy, which served her well as the mother of two sons, William (Billy) Tarewicz and Robert (Robb) Tarewicz. Her former husband, Walter (Walt) Tarewicz as well as her two sons preceded her in death.
She believed in physical fitness, and for many years, Patti participated in the Ship to Shore charity bicycle race and trained thoroughly each year. Even after her cancer diagnosis, she walked thousands of steps each day. Patti enjoyed all sorts of social gatherings, and was well known as the encourager and the one who made sure everyone had a seat and food and drinks. She was the first one, always, to start to help cleaning up, to the point that her Dad held onto his plate until he was finished, otherwise Patti would have it off the table and cleaned before he was done!
These characteristics endeared Patti to folks wherever she went, including the many doctor offices, rehabs and hospitals she needed during her journey with cancer. Apologetic to ask for anything, people quickly learned to look for what she needed, because she was reticent to ask and always sincerely grateful. She is thankful for the help she received from friends and neighbors, particularly her neighbors in Windhaven Estates, Pottstown, PA. Patti and her family are thankful for the beautiful attention of Tower Health Hospice and Columbia Cottage and especially her cousin, Marijane Barbone, in caring for Patti in her final weeks.
Patti is survived by her two sisters, Peggy Grau and her husband Jeff of John's Island, SC, and Judy McMahon and her husband Don of Ligonier, PA, as well as nieces, nephews, grand nephews, and her former husband, Jeff Blattner. Also surviving are her partner, Greg Felix, her dear friends and neighbors and her loyal friend, Randy Gray.
If anyone wishes to make a memorial donation in Patti's name, an animal welfare charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Patti liked the two Montgomery County SPCA shelters: 1059 Sweisford Rd., Perkiomenville, PA 18074, or 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
A memorial service and celebration of Patti's life will be private.
Warker~Troutman Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve Patti's family.
