Parrish Mark Smith

Parrish M. Smith, 53, passed away Friday, September 1st, 2023 at the Pottstown Hospital Tower Health.

He was a son of Marlene (Viscardi) and Edward Smith.

Parrish had many interests over the years. At an early age, he developed a love for working with his hands. His first job was at Deiner's Bicycle Shop assembling bicycles. All the neighborhood kids would ask Parrish to fix their bikes. Parrish loved riding his BMX bike and performing tricks. Later this would progress into him riding skateboards. Parrish and his friends built their own half pipe. In the last few years, Parrish bought a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He found great joy is taking rides with his friends and girlfriend.

Parrish was an artist in his own right. He learned the tricks of the concrete trade from his uncle, Dominic J. Viscardi Jr. (Dom). He worked for various concrete businesses. He laid many foundations, sidewalks, patios, and other hardscape's for family, friends, and customers. Parrish had an unbelievable knack for rebuilding and refinishing spaces. His work will live on for years to come as a testament to his craftsmanship.

Parrish was always willing to lend a hand and help people. At times it seemed his generosity of his time and talents knew no bounds.

Along with his parents, Parrish is survived by his daughters, Giavanna Smith and Theresa Smith, siblings, Nichol Smith and Adria Angstadt (husband David), nephews D. Matthew Angstadt and Michael Angstadt, and girlfriend of several years, Anita Beltz. Parrish was predeceased by his grandparents Hiram and Bertha Smith, and Doris and Dominic J. Viscardi Sr. Parrish is survived by many aunt, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 8th, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc, Pottstown. A visitation will be held prior to service at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. till 1p.m.

In lieu of flower, contributions may be made in Parrish's name to the Pennsylvania SPCA or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
