O. Amanda (Dabney) Johnson, 92, widow of Harold Johnson of Manor Care, Pottstown, PA and formerly of 250 Hale Street in Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Manor Care, Pottstown, PA . Born in Newton County, Georgia she was the daughter of the late John and Ola (Smith) Dabny. Amanda had been an office worker for J.C. Penny Company and the former Jones Motors. She had then worked as the church secretary for Second Baptist Church in Pottstown, PA. Surviving are daughters Jacquelyn Jones of Stowe, PA and Bonita Jones of Pottstown, PA . She is also survived by step-children Ronald S. Johnson of Pottstown, PA, Theresa M. Johnson of Charlotte, NC and Janice E. Johnson of Pottstown, PA . She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. She was also pre-deceased by a daughter Marcia Birch. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11 A.M. from Second Baptist Church Jefferson & North Adams Streets in Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be held from 10-11 A.M.
