Nicholas Koren

Nicholas Koren, Jr., 94, widower of Helen A. (Bolibruch) Koren of Stowe, PA died on Monday October 7, 2013. Born in Stowe, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Fesco) Koren, Sr. Mr. Koren had worked as a welder for Bethlehem Steel Co. formerly of Pottstown, PA for 31 years. He then worked for the Stainless Co. for five years until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C. Howard & Jefferson Streets in Stowe, PA. He was also a member of the American Legion and the West End Fire Co. in Stowe, PA . Mr. Koren was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II where he served in Africa and Europe. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased with his wife and parents by a brother John Koren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Gabriel's R.C.C. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township.
