Nicholas "Nick" Falcone, 78, husband of Carol (Schlegel) Falcone, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville.
He was the son of the late Nicola and Lena (Roberts) Falcone.
Nick was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School. He played football for Pottsgrove High school and was a youth pitcher for several Pottstown organizations including Bermans and Stowe Lions Club.
After graduation Nick enlisted in the Army for three years. During his enlistment he spent thirty months serving with the Military Police in Germany. After serving his country, Nick was employed by Dana Corporation in 1963. While with Dana Corp., he traveled extensively in Europe and the United States as Director of purchasing for the spicer driveshafts division. Nick and his loving wife Carol were married August 16, 1964.
He was a devoted family man. He took pride in both his grandsons. Nick was a strong advocate for his one grandson T.J., who is a quadriplegic. He would do anything to help his family. He especially enjoyed family vacations to their home in the Poconos at Lake Wallenpaupack and many other adventurous places.
Along with his wife Carol; he is survived by a daughter, Holly McKelvey, two grandsons, T.J. and Christopher McKelevy; a sister, Carmie (Falcone) Petrello, three nieces: Elisa Gawel (Ron), Karen Beauvais (Robert) and Cynthia Reed (Allen); two nephews, Barry Casciano and Kieth Petrillo and several great nieces and nephews.
Nick is predeceased by a sister, Rosemarie (Falcone) Casciano and brother-in-law Bob Petrello.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in St. Gabriel's Sorrowful Mother Church, 127 Jefferson St., Stowe, PA. Family and friends will be received in the church before mass from 10 to 11am. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Pottstown.
